Government forces on Friday launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Gamroo village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
An official said that a joint team of Army’s 14 RR Unit and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police cordoned off the village following inputs about the presence of militants.
He said that door to door searches were being carried out while all entry and exits points of the village were sealed.
Searches were going on when this report was being filed.
