Admin imposes restrictions

Kishtwar, April 09 (GNS): Two persons including a policeman were killed while as Rashtriya Swayamasevak Sangh (RSS) leader Chandrakant Singh was injured seriously after Unknown gunmen fired upon them in Kishtwar area of Jammu region on Tuesday afternoon.
Singh, besides associated with RSS is reportedly working as a medical assistant in the hospital.
Official sources told GNS that the gunmen fired upon the RSS leader and his PSO at Kishtwar hospital.

In the incident, RSS leader, his PSO and an civilian suffered serious bullet wounds and have been hospitalised. However, the PSO and the civilian succumbed.
Soon after the incident district administration has imposed curfew like restriction Kishtwar town and it’s adjoining parts.
An official of the administration confirmed the killing and subsequently the imposition of curbs in the area.
The officer said that restrictions have been imposed as a precautionary measure to maintain law and order in awake of the attack.(GNS)
