June 09: Acting tough against social crimes, Kulgam Police raided a gambling site and arrested gamblers.
Four persons were arrested following a credible input about gambling offences in Kulgam. Officers from the local police unit while making the arrests have seized stake money of ₹12400 & playing cards were also seized from the site.
A case FIR No 74/2019 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Kulgam and investigations has been initiated.
Community members are requested to cooperate with police in curbing social crimes in their neighborhood. Community members can share information pertaining to social crimes with police. We reassure the community members that our efforts in curbing social crimes shall continue.
