Geology and Mining Department continues to Seize vehicles in Ganderbal

Ganderbal 23 June (KNZ):A team of Geology and Mining Department under the supervision of District Mineral Officer Ganderbal Er Mohammed Manzoor seized 5 tippers and 4 tractors which were involved in illegal extraction and transportation minor mineral from Ganderbal district
DMO seized 05 tippers and 4 tractors under section 21(4) of the Mines and Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act. 1957.
DMO Ganderbal said that the Department will not allow such unlawful activities. He further warned that if any person found indulging in illegal mining the Department will take strict action against him under law.
Later all seized vehicles lodged in police station Kheerbawani,he added.(KNZ)
