Ganderbal 23 Dec【KNZ】: Kangan Premier League (KPL) which was Organised by Indian army 24RR Wussan Camp in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District to promote local talent and strengthen the bond with local Awaam, especially of youth
The final of the tournament was played between Rayil 11 and 11 Friends Kangan at Sainik School play ground
The finalists were felicitated and cheques were presented to the Winners, Runners Up and Man of the Series. A Rolling trophy was also presented to the 11 Friends Kangan for winning Kangan Premier League(KPL).
The championship was organised to promote the sports culture, providing opportunity to the youth to show their talent, to channelize their energy.
In the concluding function, SSP GL Sharma IRP Battalion , Principal Sainik School Manasbal Mr Nazir Ahmad,2IC 24RR Wussan ,Sarpanches,Numberdars and respectable citizens of the area were also present. They enjoyed the nail biting finish of the final match and appreciated the cricketing skills of the youth.
The players and locals thanked the Indian Army for promoting the cricket league.
