Ganderbal 13 Sep (KNZ):Ongoing series of free medical consultation and medicine distribution campaign,a medical camp has been organized by 118 BN CRPF today under Civic Action Programme.
This medical camp was held to reach out to needy people of far flung villages of Gagangeer
The initiative drew very good response and received well by the locals.
On the occasion free medical consultation and medicines to more than 200 needy patients of Gagangeer and adjacent villages in district Ganderbal.
Commanding Officer 118 BN CRPF S S Yadev while interacting with media said that Our medical camp is a means of reaching out to the general public.
We are providing treatment for common diseases, seasonal illnesses, and also if there is a need to involve expert, we are providing that, he added.
A local resident after getting a check-up, said, We are very thankful for this camp. The medicines are quite expensive outside. We have to spend Rs 1000-2000 on them. The doctors are also very good. People are getting check-ups done quite smoothly.
Doctor consultation and free medicines were provided to patients who appreciated the efforts of CRPF for reaching out to farflung villages.KNZ
