Appealed consumers to purchase minerals from legal sources:DMO Ganderbal

Ganderbal 16 Mar (KNZ): A team of Geology and Mining Department headed by DMO Ganderbal Er Zulfikar Mohd Shafi today laid crackdown at various locations of Ganderbal and seized 12 vehicles for illegal mining.
Reports said during the exercise, twelve loaded vehicles including 9 tippers and 3 tractors involved in illegal mining were seized.
DMO Ganderbal also checked the notified rates of minor minerals and advised consumers to purchase minerals from legal sources only and stay away from illegal miners.KNZ
