Dukhtaran-e-Millat Aasiyeh Andrabi on Saturday said that this sinister move to allot 16oo Kanal’s of land to the army is unacceptable to Kashmiris and must be opposed tooth and nail.
The spokesman said allotment of this large chunk of land discreetly to the army is a part of the chain of sinister policies India has been following overtly and covertly in Kashmir since 1947 to legitimize the rule here ,” DeM general secretary, Nahida Nasreen, said in a statement.
She said that these vicious policies are being carried out every now and then because people here have always opposed the Indian rule from 1947, while India has been trying to implement such anti-Kashmir policies, there have been opposing movements launched by the people of Kashmir subsequently.
Plots like transfer of land to Amarnath shrine board in 2008, the establishment of separate colonies for Pandits or settling of non-locals in Kashmir by giving them PRCs are just a few examples of how India wants to completely grab Kashmir,” she added.
“This all is being done to change the demography of Kashmir and this veiled transfer of land to Indian Army is another such policy,” she added.
Meanwhile, Nasreen paid expressed sympathies and solidarity with the senior journalist, Zahir-ud-din, over the death of his mother, who passed away on Friday.
