Bandipora, Apr 12 (KNO): A 25-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a road accident in Naninari area of Sumbal in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the motorcyclist lost his control and collided with a load-carrier vehicle at Naninari, resulting in critical injuries to him.
He said that he was immediately rushed to Sumbal hospital from where he was referred to Srinagar hospital for treatment, where doctors declared dead on arrival.
The official identified the deceased as Attaullah Dar son of Zubair Majeed Sofi Son Majeed Sofi, a resident of Tangpora Nesbal.
He said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in the concerned police station and further investigation has been taken up—(KNO)
