Kupwara, June 23 : A 29-year -old allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself inside her home in Magam village of Hundwara area in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday.
Reports reaching to KNO said that the deceased was resident of Zarhard, Magam village of Hundwara.
They said she was rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
“A team of doctors of the Hundwara Hospital conducted postmortem, after which the body was handed over to legal heirs for her last rites,” source told KNO.
A senior police officer also confirmed the incident to KNO and said her husband namely Mohammad Shafi has been arrested and further investigations are initiated in this regard(KNO)
