Beerwah, Feb 16 : Forest Protection Force seized three horses laden with illicit timber at Arwah village of Beerwa Budgam here in Central Kashmir.
Official sources told KNT that a team led by Range Officer Beerwa seized three horses that were laden with 12.50 Cubic Square feet timber. However, both the accused who reportedly are the residents of Chewdara Beerwa escaped from the spot.
They said a formal FIR vide number 17/2021 under section 33 Forest Act 379 has been registered and hunt has been launched to track down the smugglers. (KNT)
