Ganderbal 29 Oct (KNZ) : Police Station Kheerbawani received a written complaint from the parents of 03 minor girls( names withheld) hailing from Tulmulla area that they did not return from the school.
In this connection case FIR No.62/2021 U/S 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Kheerbawani and investigation set into motion.
On the directions of SSP Ganderbal,Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS , a special team under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ganderbal Shri Abdul Maajid-JKPS Ganderbal was constituted for recovery of minor girls . In a prompt action ,the three missing girls were traced at Udhampur and were immediately recovered by a special Police team headed by SHO Police Station Kheerbawani, Insp.Sajad Ahmad with the active assistance of Udhampur Police .
Pertinently ,the missing girls were recovered within 12 hours and handed over to their parents. Further investigation in the case is going on.The general public of Ganderbal especially the parents have hailed such swift action of Ganderbal police.KNZ
