Ganderbal 21 Dec (KNZ):A team of Geology and Mining Department under the supervision of District Mineral Officer Ganderbal Er Zulfikar Mohd Shafi with Support of Ganderbal Police seized three tippers at Yangoora which were involved in illegal extraction and transportation minor mineral from Ganderbal district
DMO Er Zulfikar Mohd Shafi said we have seized 3 tippers under section 21(4) of the Mines and Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act. 1957.
DMO Ganderbal also said that the Department will not allow such unlawful activities. He further warned that if any person found indulging in illegal mining the Department will take strict action against him under law.(KNZ)
