Srinagar, October 06: [KNZ] Former militant who was injured after suspected militants opened fire at him, succumbed to his injuries here in Srinagar Hospital on Friday.
A police officer told GNS that suspected militants after Friday prayers shot at at former militant Rafiq Ahmad bhat alias Dada s/O Ghulam Mohi ud din R/O near Abghar in the town. In the incident the Dada sustained serious bullet wound and has been immediately shifted to nearby hospital where from he has been shifted to Srinagar for specialised treatment. However, doctors at SMHS declared him brought dead on arrival. (GNS)
