Muzaffarabad Nov 05 [KNZ]: At least five people, two women among them, were killed and ten others wounded when a passenger van plunged into a ravine near Mirpur district of Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK) on Sunday.
Reports said that the van fell into the ravine due to over-speeding, leaving five people dead and ten others with injuries.
Security and rescue teams immediately arrived at the site of the accident and shifted the dead and injured to a nearby hospital, a rescue official told the ARY news.
He said all the deceased belonged to the same family, adding that children were also among those injured in the accident.
Earlier, eight people, including seven women, were killed and four others were injured when a passenger van had plunged into a ravine in Haveli district of PaK in May this year.
The ill-fated family was travelling to Kahuta after attending a marriage ceremony in a small village of Hallan of PaK.
