Ganderbal:On 15 Jun 22 at 1030 hrs, an accident took place at Sumbal Bala when a civil Tata truck lost control and was dangerously hanging off the cliff which led to the formation of a bottleneck on NH 1.There was no loss to any Human, animal or property.
The HIDOT party of 34 AR immediately responded at the site and managed the traffic.The recovery det of Wussan Army Camp immediately reached the site, brought the vehicle to safe place and cleared the bottleneck on NH 1.
The timely and efficient action by the troops of 34 AR was appreciated by the driver of the civil truck and timely diversion of traffic prevented any further incident.
