Ganderbal 25 Sep (KNZ): With an aim to resolve the issue of shortage of vegetables and people paying high prices for the vegetables during winters in the valley.
Wusan Battalion organised a WORKSHOPS ON HYDROPONICS TECHNIQUE OF GROWING PLANTS for the locals in Gund, Ganderbal.
The chief guest of the event was Dr. Iqbal Chaudhary, Director, Agriculture Department, Kashmir. The event proved to be a fruitful platform for the locals to learn the Hydroponics Technique of growing plants and also to discuss the day to day issues related to agriculture, directly with the director of Agriculture Department.
Total of 60 farmers attended the session were really happy to be able to share their issues directly with the director of Agriculture Department and also to learn the new technology of growing plants.
They thanked the Wusan Battalion for organizing the event and look forward to repetition of such events in the future.KNZ
