Bandipora:A two free medical camp was organized by 45 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at nowgam and inderkoot Sumbal Villages of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday.
An official said, 45 BN CRPF under civic action programme, On Thursday organised a Free Medical Camp at two places in Sumbal tehsil of Bandipora keeping in view the change of weather conditions in Kashmir valley.
Commanding Officer 44 BN CRPF mohd Iqbal while interacting with media said that Our medical camp is a means of reaching out to the general public. Our battalion will conduct this program at six locations across the bandipora.
We are providing treatment for common diseases, seasonal illnesses, and also if there is a need to involve expert, we are providing that, he added.
A local resident , after getting a check-up, said, We are very thankful for this camp. The medicines are quite expensive outside. We have to spend Rs 1000-2000 on them. The doctors are also very good. People are getting check-ups done quite smoothly.
Doctor consultation and free medicines were provided to patients who appreciated the efforts of CRPF for reaching out to farflung villages.
