Ganderbal 14 Feb (KNZ):Geology and Mining department during evening hours seized five tippers which were found involved in illegal mining in lar and Shuhama areas of Ganderbal
The operation was carried out by the Geology Mining Department along with SHO lar Gulzar Ahmad and DO Shuhama Fayaz Ahmad in lar ans Shuhama areas of Ganderbal as a result of which 5 tippers were detained from the spot and later on seized by DMO Ganderbal.
Five tippers after seizure were kept in the custody of police till realization of penalty from them as per the rules of Geology and Mining Department.
District Mining officer Ganderbal Er Zulfikar Mohd Shafi said our department is continuously holding inspections during day time and night hours in the areas having apprehension of illegal mining activities in Ganderbal.KNZ
