Srinagar, Apr 20 (KNO): A 50-year-old labourer slipped to death while working at a stone quarry in Saderkoot Bala village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) the labourer identified as Abdul Rashid Rather (50) son of Ghulam Ahmad Rather, a resident of SK Bala slipped at a stone quarry while working at Dudwan SK Bala, resulting in critical injuries to him.
He said that he was immediately rushed to Sumbal hospital where from he was referred to Srinagar hospital for specialised treatment. “He was declared dead on arrival by the doctors at Srinagar hospital.”
The official further informed that the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites while a case has also been registered in this regard—(KNO)
