Srinagar, Feb 20 (KNS): The Sikh and Pandit community in Srinagar, Wednesday staged a protest against the attacks on Kashmiris in and outside Jammu and Kashmir.
Scores of Sikhs, Pandits assembled at Hari Singh High Streets here and chanted slogans like ‘Hindu, Muslim Sikh Itehaad, Zindabaad Zindabaad’.
They condemned the attacks on Kashmiris outside the Valley and said such acts must be stopped.
“Despite minority community, we never witnessed such situation in Kashmir. We feel very comfortable here, therefore all those who attack Kashmiris outside the Valley should refrain from such acts,” a protesting Pandit said.
The attacks on Kashmiris took place after Lethpora attack here that left over three dozen CRPF men dead and injured many others. (KNS)
