Ganderbal, July 26: The 5th edition of the District Badminton Championship being organised by District Badminton Association, Ganderbal under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Badminton Association and sponsored by Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council, was inaugurated in GDC badminton Court here today.
The tournament is being played in both boys and girls singles and doubles title under different age categories.
The tournament was inaugurated by the Principal, Government Degree College, Ganderbal, Prof M. Yaseen Shah. President, DBA Shah Aijaz, Vice President M. Aslam Qureshi, District Secretary Dr. Ajaz Qureshi along with other office bearers of the association were present on the occasion.
On the first day, matches in Girls Singles segment were played.
