Body of a 60-year-old man was recovered from Babhar village of Pulwama district on Monday late afternoon.Reports reaching here said that the locals spotted the male body lying inan orchard at Babhar and accordingly informed the police station.After being informed, the police team reached the spot and recovered the body, they said.A policeofficer also confirmed the incident and identified the deceasedas Abdul Aziz Bhat (60) son of Ali Mohammad of Dadoora Pulwama.After conductingall the legal formalities, the body has been handed over to the family for last rites.“Subsequently, a case under 174 CrPc has been registered and further investigations were taken up,” the police officer said. Apparently, it seems that the man has died of extreme cold, the officeradded. (GNS)
