Ganderbal 30 May (KNZ): In its continued efforts to curb illegal mining in the District, the Geology and Mining Team Ganderbal along with District Mineral Officer Majid Aziz Bhat with the assistance of SHO Kangan Zahoor Ahmad and SHO Gund Mudasir Ahmad seized 8 tractors found involved in illegal extraction transportation of minerals from
As per reports, the operation was carried out by Geology and Mining Department in various areas of District Ganderbal including Kangan,Mammer,Gund,Ganiwan,satruna and adjoining areas as a result of which 08 tractors were seized.
After seizure the vehicles were retained by respective police stations till realization of penalty from the offenders as per the rules of Geology and Mining Department.KNZ
