Ganderbal:J&K Police District Ganderbal in collaboration with Forest department started plantation drive as a part of the campaign “Ek Ped Shahdoun Key Naam” in the jurisdiction of PS Safapora in which saplings of different species of plants were planted at Eid-Gah Safapora and Eid-Gah Pehlipora in the loving memory of Martyr Ct. Fayaz Ahmad & Martyr SPO Abdul Rashid.
The Plantation drive was carried out under the supervision of Dy.SP DAR DPL Ganderbal Nazir Ahmad in which NOKs of Police Martyrs, SHO PS Safapora Shri Mudasir Zaroo and other senior Police officers & Forest Department participated whole-heartedly.
On the said occasion, Dy.SP DAR Shri Nazir Ahmad highlighted that the initiative is being taken to inculcate the sense of patriotism and responsibility among the citizens towards the motherland, besides creating awareness about the supreme sacrifices of our brave hearts who gave ultimate sacrifice for the sake of the nation.
