Srinagar, Aug 12 (KB): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has been highlighting the sea change that has come in Jammu and Kashmir during the last five years, which has signaled a tectonic shift in the development and civic culture of this far-northern region.

Addressing here today, as per Kashmir Bulletin (KB), Sinha highlighted the enthusiastic participation of locals in the “Har Ghar Tiranga” initiative as a hopeful sign toward heightened nationalism and community pride.

He emphasized the commitment of the government toward ensuring all-round, inclusive growth and listed various developmental projects pertaining to infrastructure, education, health, and employment opportunities in all parts of the region.

His speech dwelt on the successes of the administration in maintaining peace and stability, a precondition that he asserted has to be met if investment is to flow in and growth is to pick up.

He reiterated the government’s vision and pledged to work towards a self-reliant Jammu and Kashmir where every citizen could contribute to and benefit from the progress of the region.— (KB)
