Gund :- In a significant move to enhance banking services in rural areas, State Bank of India (SBI) has inaugurated its new branch at Gund in Ganderbal district.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Chief General Manager Krishan Sharma, who expressed his vision for the branch as a cornerstone of financial inclusion and customer service excellence in the region.

Officials said that the new branch aims to provide convenient and accessible banking services to the local population, promoting financial inclusion and economic growth in the region.

They said that the SBI committed to expanding its presence in rural areas, ensuring that banking services reach the doorstep of every citizen.

Officials said the Gund Ganderbal branch offers a range of services, including, Savings and current accounts, Loans and credit facilities Deposit scheme and Digital banking services
