Gund:- Hundreds of men and women enthusiastically participated in the 2nd Annual Rahmatul-lil-Alameen Conference held at Daruloom Hanfia Kamaliya Gund Ganderbal on Sunday.

Addressing the conference Islamic speakers said setting up Darul Uloom in the Gund area will go a long way in spreading the message.

They said with the aim of encouraging and promoting the Islamic religion and to enable youths to read and understand the Islamic religion as prescribed by the Almighty Allah.

Speakers said moral and Islamic education is a must to morally uplift the new generation..

Addressing the gathering Maulana Showkat Ahmad Qadri emphasized that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) had clearly defined the rights of women, children, orphans, minorities, and even slaves, adding that by following his teachings, one could attain success both in this world and the hereafter.

He stressed the importance of introducing children to the Prophet’s (PBUH) great teachings because, without showing future generations the path laid out by him, the establishment of an Islamic welfare society would not be possible.

Molan Showkat Qadri praised the Intizamia Committee of Darul Uloom Kamilaya for organizing the Rahmatul-lil-Alameen Conference.

The Ceremony was also attended by Chairman Haji Ghulam Qadir Akhoon, Molana Bilal Ahmad Kumar and Molana Ab Qayoom Aattari and other local Islamic speakers.
