GANDERBAL, NOVEMBER 12: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today chaired a comprehensive review meeting of the Revenue Department to assess its overall functioning at the Conference Hall of the Mini Secretariat, Ganderbal.
During the meeting, the DC conducted a detailed review of various matters related to the Revenue Department. Key areas discussed included progress under the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP), Survey of Villages Abadi and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas (SVAMITVA), and Unique Land Parcel Identification Number (ULPIN) projects.
The DC also reviewed the quality checks of scanned data, issuance of Land Passbooks, status of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) cases, online service delivery, and pendency of cases outside the Public Service Guarantee Act (PSGA).
In addition, updates were presented on pending land acquisition cases, progress of mutation attestations for acquired land, efforts toward the removal of encroachments from State and Kahcharai lands, and the status of revenue court cases.
The DC emphasized the importance of timely and efficient service delivery and urged all officials to expedite the resolution of pending issues to enhance transparency and public trust in the Revenue Department.
He also emphasized to strengthen coordination among various sections of the departments to meet the targets and streamline revenue-related services for the benefit of the public.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Gulzar Ahmad; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, SDM Kangan, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and other concerned officials.
