Jammu — District Police Reasi apprehended four notorious drug peddlers and recovered 9.76 grams of heroin (Chitta) from their possession during a naka checking operation at Sula Naka.
A vehicle registration No. JK20A-8100 coming from Katra towards Reasi was intercepted for routine inspection. Upon thorough checking, heroin was recovered from the occupants, identified as Anil Sharma, Shubham Singh, Vivek Raina, Kamal Kumar.
A case, FIR No. 209/2024 under Sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act, has been registered at Police Station Reasi.
Further investigation is underway to unearth the forward and backward linkages of the arrested individuals. — (KIMS)
