Ganderbal:In a bid to promote road safety and ensure the well-being of the public, the Jammu and Kashmir Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) Ganderbal organized a free medical camp in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Ganderbal. The initiative was held as part of the National Road Safety Month.

The camp, which took place at a prominent location in Ganderbal, provided free medical check-ups and consultations to drivers, commuters, and local residents. A team of skilled doctors, led by the CMO, offered health assessments, including blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar checks, and general health screenings.

The MVD officials emphasized the importance of maintaining good health for safe driving, particularly as part of the National Road Safety Month awareness campaign. The initiative also aimed to raise awareness about the significance of regular health check-ups for drivers, who are often exposed to long hours on the road.

The event witnessed a large turnout, with many people availing of the free medical services. Officials from the Motor Vehicle Department expressed gratitude to the CMO Ganderbal for their support in organizing the camp and highlighted their commitment to road safety and public health in the region.
