Ganderbal, May 1: A football tournament organised by Ganderbal Police concluded with a grand finale at Government Physical Education College, Gadoora, officials said.

The tournament, held as part of youth engagement and community outreach initiatives, witnessed participation from 16 teams across the district.

In the final match, Poison FC defeated Comrade FC 5-1 to lift the trophy.

Principal of the college, Showkat Hussain, along with police officers and other dignitaries, was present on the occasion.

Officials said the event aimed at promoting sports and strengthening police-public relations.

Winners and runners-up were felicitated with trophies, cash prizes, medals and certificates.
The initiative was appreciated by the public for encouraging youth participation in sports activities.
