Anantnag, May 4 (KNC): The Drug Control Organisation Anantnag, in coordination with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, conducted a joint inspection drive in Achabal on Monday to enforce compliance with drug control regulations.
During the drive, officials inspected a total of 19 medical establishments across the area. Three shops—Hope Chemists and Druggists Achabal, Parray Medical Store (opposite SDH Achabal), and Dar and Rather Pharmacy Achabal—were found violating prescribed norms and were sealed on the spot.
Authorities reiterated their commitment to strict enforcement of drug laws and maintaining accountability within the pharmaceutical sector. They emphasized that such inspection drives will continue in the future to safeguard public health and ensure transparency in the sale of medicines. (KNC)
