Anantnag June 05: Deputy Inspector General of Police, South Kashmir Range, Shri Javid Iqbal Matoo-IPS, along with Senior Superintendent of Police Anantnag Shri Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS, today visited various CAPF camping locations established for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026 duty in the district.
During the visit, the officers interacted with CAPF personnel and reviewed the arrangements made for their stay and deployment. They inspected accommodation, sanitation, drinking water, medical facilities, communication systems, and other logistical arrangements to ensure the welfare and operational preparedness of the deployed forces.
The DIG stressed the importance of effective coordination among all security agencies and directed the concerned officers to ensure that all facilities remain fully functional and adequately maintained for the smooth conduct of SANJY-2026.
