Ganderbal , June 14 (KNZ /TMJ): A cloudburst was reported in the upper Darend forest area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday, officials said.

An official told Kashmir News Zone- the media journal that The cloudburst occurred in a remote forest belt, prompting authorities to closely monitor the situation. There were no immediate reports of any loss of life or damage to property.

Officials said assessment teams have been alerted to evaluate the impact of the incident, while the administration remains vigilant in view of the prevailing weather conditions.(KNZ/TMJ)
