Srinagar, June 20(GNS)The Jammu and Kashmir government has placed Dr. Syed Maqbool Ahmad Shah, Associate Professor of Cardiology deputed to Government Medical College, Anantnag, under suspension with immediate effect pending an inquiry into his conduct.
According to Government Order No. 504-JK (HME) of 2026 dated June 20, the action has been taken under Rule 31 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956.
During the suspension period, Dr. Shah will remain attached to the office of Government Medical College, Jammu.
The order was issued by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.(GNS)
