Ganderbal July 25: As part of the comprehensive security arrangements for the smooth and peaceful conduct of ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2026, a joint mock drill was conducted at Sainik School Manasbal and Pandit Colony Wussan by the Special Operation Group (SOG) Ganderbal, in close coordination with the Indian Army and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).

The exercise was designed to evaluate and enhance the operational preparedness, inter-agency coordination, response capability, and effectiveness of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in dealing with various security contingencies. The participating forces rehearsed coordinated response mechanisms, area domination, tactical movement, evacuation procedures, and emergency management to ensure swift and effective action in any unforeseen situation.

The mock drill reflected the high level of synergy and seamless coordination among all participating security agencies, reinforcing their collective commitment to maintain a safe, secure, and peaceful environment for pilgrims and the general public during the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
