Anantnag, Aug 8, KNT: An 80-year-old woman died after accidentally falling from a two-storey residential house in Telli Mohalla area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Raja Begum, wife of Ghulam Nabi Telli, a resident of Telli Mohalla, Bijbehara.
According to initial information, the elderly woman sustained serious injuries in the fall during the early morning hours. She was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bijbehara for treatment.
However, she succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident. [KNT]
