Body of Srinagar Youth Recovered from Nallah Sindh After Two-Day Search

Ganderbal, Aug 22(KNZ/TMJ): The body of an 18-year-old youth from Srinagar, who was feared to have drowned in Nallah Sindh in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, was recovered on Saturday after a two-day search operation, officials said.

 

The deceased has been identified as Danish Bilal, son of Bilal Ahmad Hajam, a resident of Hafiz Bagh, Dargah, Srinagar.

 

Danish had reportedly gone to Nallah Sindh near the dumping park at Kijpara to take a bath on Friday when he went missing after entering the water.

 

Soon after the incident, Kangan Police, assisted by local residents, launched a search operation to trace him.

 

After sustained efforts, the search teams recovered his body from Nallah Sindh on Saturday, bringing the two-day search operation to an end.
