Ganderbal September 29: Police in Ganderbal concluded the Volleyball Tournament organised under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) at Government Higher Secondary School, Gund, with an exciting grand finale witnessed by enthusiastic spectators, sports lovers and local youth.

The concluding ceremony was attended by SDPO Kangan Shri Rajeev Raina-JKPS, Principal Government Higher Secondary School Gund, SHO Gund and other senior police officers.

In the much-awaited final, Sindh Spikers Barwalla emerged victorious, defeating Mammer Goodwill 2–0 sets in a spirited and competitive encounter.

The tournament provided a vibrant platform for local youth to showcase their sporting talent while fostering discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship and healthy recreation. The initiative also aimed at strengthening police-public relations and promoting meaningful engagement with youth through sports.

Police appreciated all participating teams, players, organisers and spectators for their enthusiastic participation and sporting spirit, and reaffirmed its commitment to promote youth engagement, sports and community participation under the Civic Action Programme.
