Ganderbal, Oct 4(KNZ/TMJ): A 19-year-old girl died after reportedly falling into a power canal at Barnabugh area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, officials said.
An official told Kashmir news zone-the media journal that the girl fell into the canal and was rescued by locals in a critical condition. She was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kangan for treatment.
However, doctors at the hospital declared her brought dead on arrival.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and further proceedings are underway.(KNZ/ TMJ)
