Ganderbal, October 14:Ganderbal Police, in coordination with the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), conducted extensive vehicle checking at multiple locations across the district on Wednesday as part of efforts to strengthen security arrangements and maintain law and order.

Security nakas were established at several strategic locations, where police and CAPF personnel thoroughly checked vehicles and verified relevant documents to keep a close watch on suspicious movement and prevent any unlawful activities.

The drive was aimed at enhancing public safety, strengthening the security grid and ensuring a peaceful and secure environment across the district.

Ganderbal Police reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of the public through proactive policing, coordinated security measures and regular surveillance.

The general public has been urged to cooperate with security personnel during vehicle checking and adhere to all traffic and security-related guidelines.
