Kupwara October 28: SSP Kupwara holds a joint security review meeting at the District Police Office Kupwara, with the participation of senior commanders and officers from the Indian Army, CRPF, BSF and other sister agencies.

The meeting focused on strengthening inter-agency coordination, enhancing real-time intelligence sharing and refining counter-terrorism strategies across the district. Directives were issued to intensify patrolling, maintain strict vigilance along the Line of Control and in hinterland areas, and ensure public safety while allowing normal life to continue unhindered during operational activities.

The meeting also deliberated on the winter security strategy, with particular emphasis on operational preparedness, inter-agency coordination and maintaining heightened vigilance in view of the challenging winter conditions.
