Doda ; September 05 Displaying a rare act of honesty, a Police cop (SPO) today return a money Rs 20,000 to SBI Bank.
Vaishan Kumar , a resident of Village Jhakyas in Doda district who works as a SPO (2455) in Police department, Few days back he had gone to withdraw money from SBI ATM at Doda town. When he entered the ATM and try to withdraw the 1000 cash, he noticed Rs 20,000 sticking out of the currency slot. Someone had forgotten to take their withdrwal.
Vaishan Kumar immediately visited the SSP headquarter Doda and inform to officer about this matter, SSP Immediately called SBI Bank Manger and handed over the cash to bank official.
Impressed by his honesty, SSP Doda Shabir Ahmed Khatana along DySP DAR (DPL). Nazir Ahmed Ganai and SBI Bank Manger appreciated Vaishan Kumar for his honesty.
