Ganderbal 12 Oct【KNZ】:To bridge the gap between the army and public,5RR Bn organized a woman’s cricket championship at Sainik School Cricket Ground Manasbal in Ganderbal.

The tournament was inaugurated by GOC Victor force Shri Major Gen. B S Raju. The inaugural ceremony of the womans cricket tournament was held at Sainik School.

While as this event was organised First time in District all ten districts of kashmir valley are participating in the championship.

Speaking on the occasion of inaugural ceremony, GOC Victor force Shri Major Gen. B S Raju said that these events are being organized to channelize the talent of youth towards positive direction and to provide a platform to harness their capabilities in the field of sports and explore their talent.

The chief guest in the inaugural cermony was GOC Victor force Shri Major Gen. B S Raju accompained by SSP Ganderbal Fayaz Ahmad Lone,PDP District President Farooq Ganderbali and Principal Sainik School Nazir Ahmad Dar.

Besides, other officers of Army,Police,School Staff and a huge crowd of youth and locals witnessed the inaugural ceremony.
