Srinagar: Traders Federation Pampore Sunday called for protest shutdown in the town on Monday against the braid chopping of a 35 years old lady.
The braid of Hinna Jan wife of Mohammad Ashraf Bhat of Namblabal Pampore was chopped allegedly by two unknown persons on Saturday evening.
Pampore Traders Federation President, Abdul Majeed Bhat while talking to Kashmir Reader urged people of the saffron town to observe shutdown against the braid chopping incident.
Pertinently, protest erupted in Namblabal Pampore area late last evening soon after the braid chopping of Hinna.
