Non-local man shot dead in Arwani in south Kashmir

Gunmen on Sunday night shot dead a man in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district of south Kashmir.

Reports said that the deceased, identified as Shakir Ahmad, was a resident of Uttar Pradesh.

They said that gunmen fired upon Ahmad in Arwani area of Bijbehara, resulting in his death.

Earlier in the day, a woman was killed and another injured after suspected militants opened fire on them in Tral area of Pulwama district.

Police blamed the Jaish-e-Muhammad outfit
