Ganderbal 38 Nov【KNZ】:Residents of Manigam, Wayil and Gutlibagh in Ganderbal District Tuesday staged protest against the Power Development Department (PDD) for failing to provide proper electricity in their villages.
According to reports residents blocked Srinagar Sonamarg Highway at manigam crossing and staged a massive protests with this hundrends of vehicles were stranded on highway,angry residents raised slogans against PDD for huge curtailment of power supply in their areas.
While as they were demanding the immediate replacement of high capacity transformer in the receiving station Wayil to overcome the crises as it is not sufficient for residents.
Residents requested the adminstration to look into the matter so that their problems will be redressed.
