Appealed to State administration
The road widening process in district Srinagar has taken a toll on the existing footpaths and the space for pedestrians walking on them is shrinking day by day.
Further more, the street vendors particularly fruit and vegetable vendor’s have encroached of the space on these footpaths illegally, thus making it difficult for the people of the city to move freely.
The authorities have time again stressed the need of managing the foothpaths in a legal manner, but nothing concrete has been done on the ground level.
So it has now become imperative to bring it to the notice of Concerned authorities to take concrete measures in this regard.
