Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a drug peddler and two burglars from the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir.
An official said that Fayaz Ahmad Ganie, a resident of Tikipora village, was nabbed last evening along with around 1500 grams of Charas.
Another official said that two burglars were arrested in Sogam town today. A cell phone and Rs 50000 stolen cash were recovered from their possession, he said.
He identified the accused as Parvez Ahmad Mir and Rashik Lone, both residents of Tangchak village.
An official said that the accused used a ladder and barged into the house of their relative last week. “They stole cash and a cell phone from the house,” he said.
